Users have until the end of day July 15th to place requests for CDs. CELA will cease production and mailing CDs effective Thursday, July 31.

Summary

Un racconto solidale che ti arriverà al cuore. Hugo è figlio unico di una famiglia molto povera, da quando è nato i suoi genitori a stento riescono a dargli da mangiare. Disperati per il benessere di loro figlio, i genitori… accettano una proposta di lavoro in un paese lontano, anche se l'unica condizione di questa offerta è che non possono portare loro figlio, visto che i lavoratori di tale impresa dovrebbero convivere insieme distribuiti nelle varie case di quel lontano paese e a malapena c'è posto per loro. I genitori, di fronte alle scarse possibilità di potergli dare un futuro nel breve periodo, accettano la proposta e decidono di lasciare loro figlio nelle mani del parroco del paese, affinché lo porti all'orfanotrofio, fin quando loro possano tornare e riprenderlo per potergli dare un futuro migliore. Ma in questo periodo, la vita di Hugo cambierà e tutta la sua esistenza sarà stravolta da una serie di eventi che segneranno il suo modo di capire le cose, fino ad arrivare al suo decimo natale
