Diese stiften also zuletzt Zusammenhänge zwischen Amt und Welt, zunächst aber zwischen unterschiedlichsten Schriftstücken – egal, ob in Gestalt von Kästchen und Kisten, von Bündeln, Kladden oder Ordnern, zunehmend in Form von verschalteten Datensätzen und elektronischen Verweissystemen. Akten lassen sich deshalb als Medien verstehen, die unterschiedliche Formen der Inskription miteinander verbinden. Acta sind Arbeitsmittel, Handlungen und zugleich Medien der (Auto-)Protokollierung eines administrativen Vorgangs, in welcher Doppelfunktion sie die Rechenschaftspflicht der Verwaltungen ebenso zu erfüllen helfen, wie sie eine historiographische Dokumentation ihres Tuns ermöglichen. Als Aufschreibesystem mit spezifischem Prozesscharakter, das unablässige Rekursion mit weitreichenden Handlungsketten verbindet, waren Akten seit ihrem Aufkommen in der Frühneuzeit eine medientechnische Innovation – und sind es noch heute, im Zeitalter ihrer ›Digitalisierung‹. Dabei sind diese keineswegs nur Sache der Verwaltung: Die Geschichten der Akte/n in diesem (Open Access-)Band der AdminiStudies handeln auch von einer Mediengeschichte der Migration der ›Aktenmäßigkeit‹ in pädagogische oder medizinische, politische, militärische oder wirtschaftliche Organisationen sowie technische Bereiche und künstlerisch-literarische Domänen.

protection. Since 1989, the UNCRC has become a catalogue of rights that expresses legal norms used by all countries in the world. The UNCRC can be considered a toolkit that expresses a normative order, that is, a human rights standard for how to legitimately protect children, and to facilitate processes of participation. For many children and adolescents&’ music is a significant source for gaining health and social/cultural participation. Music then, has the potential for realizing values inherent in the UNCRC. The main aim of this book is to utilize The United Nations Conventions on the Rights (UNCRC) as a tool to give an overview of relevant themes, and to critically explore what implications the convention has for the profession of music therapy, and more specifically, music therapy for children and adolescents.

Solchermaßen kommen nicht nur Konstellationen eines produktiven Scheiterns in den Blick, sondern ebenso die komplexe Mehrebenenstruktur von Resilienzprozessen, die das Scheitern auf einer mit dem Gelingen auf anderen Ebenen sozialer Prozesse zusammendenken lassen. Zum Themenfeld "Resilienz und Scheitern" versammelt der Band historische und sozialwissenschaftliche Beiträge, die das ambivalente Verhältnis von Resilienzprozessen und Diagnosen des Scheiterns in theoretisch-konzeptioneller Hinsicht ausloten und in ausgewählten historischen Fallstudien vom 13. bis ins 20. Jahrhundert hinein empirisch veranschaulichen. Die Beiträge schreiben damit die Bemühungen der Trierer Forschungsgruppe "Resilienz - Gesellschaftliche Umbruchphasen im Dialog zwischen Mediävistik und Soziologie" fort, ein kritisch reflektiertes Resilienzkonzept für historische und sozialwissenschaftliche Analysen fruchtbar zu machen.

As a renewable resource and a sustainable substitute for fossil fuel, Jatropha curcas produces seeds containing inedible oil, which can supply fuel and meet the national energy demands of Bangladesh. The plant does not need arable lands and does not compete with food, water and nutrients. This book also highlights the land use patterns and possible cultivation areas of Bangladesh. It is based on research of the cultivation technology, ecological and agronomical aspects, biotechnological methodologies, harvesting and crop yield including fuel and byproduct formation. It also highlights the different uses and socioeconomic benefits of the plant and production costs and briefly describes the procedure for the production of biodiesel and other useful byproducts. The comparison of biodiesel from Jatropha curcas with conventional fossil fuel is also discussed as well as its ability to sequester carbon from the environment to cope up with climate change, adaptation as well as mitigation
